WEEKLY WALKING GROUP
Our "conversational pace" walking group will meet every Tuesday night (see schedule) at 5:30pm and provide a friendly volunteer guide. Join anytime! The walks will begin with short distances, roughly one mile, but there will often be opportunities to walk farther. Each location will see longer distance walks, with the goal of hiking part or all of Long Mt.
July 3, 10, 17, 24, 31 at 5:30pm: Meet at Valentine Farm, 162 North Road, Bethel. This is the headquarters for the Mahoosuc Land Trust.
August 7, 14, 21, 28 at 5:30pm: Meet at the tennis court at The Bethel Inn Resort, 21 Broad St, Bethel. This is the Bethel Village Trails location.
September 4, 11, 18, 25 at 5:30pm: Meet at Long Mountain, Vernon St, Albany Twp., 6 miles on the left from Main St. This is Mahoosuc Pathways' Bacon Hill location.

MONTHLY HIKING GROUP
This group meets on the 2nd Saturday of every month, July-October, for adventurous, lengthy, day-long hikes. All are are led by two local hiking enthusiasts who will help navigate the trails.Sign-up is required for these hikes. You can do so HERE. Note that previous hiking experience is needed; you can find more detailed information on the sign-up form.

August 11: Mount Madison
September 8: Sunday River Whitecap
October 13: Shelburne-Moriah Mts.

Second Nature Adventure Challenge is a go-at-your-own-pace program: check out the website to find the hikes and see who else is out on the trails; make an account if you want in order to collect badges for each hike completed; then go hike!
Call a friend or bring the family to take part in the challenge; the more the merrier! There's no beginning or end to the program--start whenever you'd like, and do the hikes as many times as you want.
