About The Event
The snow is gone and things are quite a mess out there. However, many hands can help improve the situation in just a few hours.
Bethel meets @ The Bethel Town Common at 9am
Woodstock meets @ Bryant Pond Ball Field at 9am
Greenwood meets@ Greenwood Town Hall at 9am
Wear a safety vest or bright shirt/jacket and gloves. Bags will be provided. We will have a map to help distribute people along the roadsides. If you want to clean-up near your house instead, that is great! Just let Sarah Southam know so we don't duplicate areas of clean-up. If you want to bring your trash collection to the Bethel Common at 11:30am, we will have a truck to take to the transfer station.
Kids are welcome to join the clean-up. We will have a TRASH BINGO CARD for them to fill out as they collect items. If they get a row on the Bingo card, they'll get an Earth Day tattoo and if they complete the whole card, they'll get a cookie gift card from Gemini Cafe. Thank you, Gemini!
All volunteers are welcome to join us on the Bethel Common at 11:30am for lunch. Sandwiches will be provided by Crossroads Diner and Mahoosuc Land Trust. There will also be fruit, chips, and drinks.
