About The Event

Join James Reddoch at 8:00 am to explore the spring birds at one of his favorite birding sites – the beaver ponds at Northern Retreat in Albany, ME. No experience is necessary, and experienced and beginner birders alike are welcome. You will learn about the unique habitat of beaver ponds and the birds that use it to raise their young. Birds found here in years past include mergansers, geese, ducks, herons, blackbirds, flycatchers, warblers, tanagers, and orioles. This loop is ~ 2 miles and is on uneven terrain. Directions will be sent with your confirmation.
