Information for Potential Land Donors
"Our wish to preserve deep family roots in the land, especially in Maine, and to ensure a healthy environment for interaction of wildlife and humans, as well as sustainable use of forest and field, found a true partner, protector and friend in Mahoosuc Land Trust." -- Martha and John Chandler
The Mahoosuc Land Trust is committed to working with private landowners to develop long-term conservation plans for their property. We are especially interested in conserving parcels that feature scenic views, high-value woodland and farmland, as well as access to rivers, lakes, mountain tops and recreational land. All Mahoosuc Land Trust projects must meet the project selection criteria. (Click here for selection criteria .pdf )
The Mahoosuc Land Trust offers landowners several ways to permanently protect important values of their property. For land conservation information, please contact the Mahoosuc Land Trust Office at 207-824-3806.
